PURITY AND HOLINESS FOR THE DELIVERED: OBADIAH.VS17; God delights in holiness and purity of life of His children. His desire and command to all His children is that they should be holy as He is holy. 1Peter.1:14-16; Lev.19:1-2; Lev.20:7-8, 26. That is why in giving this promise of deliverance He put holiness at the centre. It is the pivotal point that holds everything. Real deliverance will naturally leads to holiness; any form of deliverance that does not lead to holiness is not of God. Luk.1:73-75. Rom.6:18, 22; 1Thess.4:7-10; 2Cor.7:1. All the promises of God and all the miracles that He performs in answer to prayer are meant to lead us to a life of holiness. 2Peter.1:3-4; Heb.12:14. Without holiness it is impossible for any man to neither get to heaven nor see God. Because God delights and very much interested in our being holy and pure He has made all necessary provisions for our purity and holiness, Christ has paid the price on the cross of Calvary for our sanctification and holiness. Christ did not only pay the price but also prayed unto father to sanctify us His disciples. John.17:9, 14-23. As a child of God who desire to be in heaven at last this is one indispensable quality that you must possess: HOLINESS OF LIFE.
